Fish and home-made chips

A delicious homemade version of fish and chips.


  • 4 pieces of white fish (boned and filleted) (approx 5oz/150g)
  • 7- 8 potatoes
  • 500g /16 oz. of frozen peas / sweetcorn


  1. Preheat oven at 180°C/356°F/Gas Mark 4
  2. Cut the potatoes into thick cut chips
  3. Bake the fish in the oven for 25 mins
  4. Drizzle chips with a teaspoon of olive oil (if desired), bake in oven for 20 minutes
  5. Cook frozen peas as per instructions on packet. You could also add sweetcorn for extra veg.

  • Baking tray
  • Chopping board
  • Chopping knife
  • Vegetable peeler

Serving suggestions

Serve with a side salad of lettuce, tomatoes and sliced cucumber.
