Bear fool

Fruit is the perfect sweet snack for kids. You can introduce all kinds of fun by being creative with ingredients!


Ingredients

  • 2 small bananas
  • 125g / 4½ oz. pot of plain, low-fat, natural yoghurt
  • 2 glace cherries or 2 seedless grapes
  • 2 half slices of kiwi fruit
  • 4 raisins
  • 4 small water biscuits

Method

  1. Peel and slice the bananas and mix with the yogurt
  2. Serve the yogurt and banana mix into two bowls
  3. Smooth over the top of the mix and start to make a bear face with the other ingredients
  4. Place the cherry or grape in the middle of the banana-yogurt mix – that’s the nose
  5. Use the water biscuits to make the ears
  6. Use the raisins for the eyes
  7. Make a mouth with the kiwi slice

What you will need

  • Chopping board
  • Chopping knife
  • Mixing bowl
  • Wooden spoon

Serving suggestions

Replace any of these fruits with ones of your choice to keep the kids interested!
