  • 40g / 1½oz. of porridge oats
  • 4 tablespoons of semi-skimmed milk
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 2 dried apricots, chopped


  1. Add the oats, milk and water to a bowl and microwave for 1 to 1½ minutes, until the oats have absorbed the liquid and thickened.
  2. Add the chopped apricots to the porridge, mix together and enjoy!

Serving suggestions

Increase your good dietary fat and fibre intake by adding some chopped nuts like almonds and walnuts.
