Muesli with banana, yoghurt and nuts

Eating nuts as part of a balanced diet can be good for your heart. They contain unsaturated fatty acids, protein and other nutrients.


  • 125g / 4½ oz. pot of low-fat natural yogurt
  • 1 ripe medium banana, cut into small pieces
  • 1 dessertspoon of honey
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped nuts, e.g. hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds
  • 80g / 3 oz. of muesli


  1. Put the chopped banana into the bottom of a bowl
  2. Add the muesli
  3. Pour the yogurt over the banana and muesli
  4. Mix in the honey
  5. Sprinkle with nuts

Keep this recipe interesting by replacing the banana with other fruits such as strawberries or melon
