Brussels Sprouts with Honey and Mustard

Tossed in the pan with honey and mustard, a quick, simple and delicious way to use up those leftover sprouts

Ingredients

  • 500g / 18 oz.  leftover Brussels sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons grainy mustard
  • 1 low salt vegetable stock cube made with 300 ml / 10 fl oz.  of water
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Method

 

  1. Roughly chop the Brussels sprouts in half 
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the Brussels sprouts for 2 minutes
  3. Add the mustard and stock carefully and cook for 3 to 4 minutes
  4. Remove from the heat, stir in the honey and serve

  • Chopping board
  • Chopping knife
  • Frying pan
  • Measuring jug(for liquids)
  • Wooden spoon
