Ham patties

Sick of turkey? Why not try this recipe to use up your leftover ham.


  • 200g of leftover cooked ham
  • 1 medium egg
  • 35g / 1oz. of wholegrain breadcrumbs - around 1 slice
  • Pinch of sage
  • 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
  • Pepper, to taste


  1. Mix ground ham with the beaten egg, breadcrumbs, a pinch of sage and pepper
  2. Shape into two patties and fry in the oil

What you will need

  • Frying pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Wooden spoon

Serving suggestions

Serve hot in wholegrain burger buns, with salad ingredients of your choice.
