Bircher muesli

A twist on your standard muesli and a comforting way to start the day!

About this recipe

  • 2 dessertspoons of porridge oats
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 1 small apple, grated
  • ½ tablespoon of raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of crushed walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon of sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat natural yogurt


  1. Combine the oats, water, grated apple and raisins and leave overnight in the fridge to soak.
  2. To prepare the muesli, remove the bowl of soaked oats and fruit from the fridge and add the walnuts and almonds and yogurt.

Serving suggestions

Top your muesli with berries for some extra goodness.
