Research objective
- Explore consumer perceptions and self-reported practices related to air fryer usage to develop a discussion framework for online focus groups.
- Obtain qualitative data on consumer awareness, perspectives, attitudes, and self-reported practices related to air fryer usage and food safety.
- Obtain quantitative data on consumer awareness, perspectives, attitudes, and self-reported practices related to air fryer usage and food safety.
- Obtain behavioural data detailing food safety practices relating to air fryer use.
- Capture in-home end-point cooking temperatures and re-enact observed behaviours to establish end-point cooking temperatures.
- Triangulate findings to obtain an in-depth understanding of consumer behaviours and food safety practices in relation to air fryer usage on the island of Ireland.
