Research report
- Title: Directory of nutrition activities on the island of Ireland
- Publication date: 21 February 2003
- Summary: A directory of all nutrition activities on the island of Ireland.
- Findings:
Dietitians form the largest stakeholder group in nutrition on the island of Ireland. The Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute (INDI) was commissioned to carry out the project. The first phase in the development of the directory was the creation of a database of activities in the dietetics field (acute, primary care, health promotion and research) activities in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The outcomes of this project have formed the core of a directory of all nutrition activities on the island, with the overall aim of providing health professionals and other key stakeholders in the nutrition field with a valuable information resource that will facilitate exchange of information and collaboration.
