Funding to build food safety skills

Apply for funding to build your food safety skills and experience.

Knowledge Network members can apply for a bursary of up to €1,700 (or sterling equivalent) through our Food Safety Skill Fund for activities that will develop skills, provide practical experience or create links with food safety professionals on the island of Ireland. You can use the fund for activities such as:

  • visits to laboratories
  • attending conferences or centres of excellence
  • taking part in food safety training

The fund actively encourages cross-border and cross-sector visits and exchanges.

Funding

Members can apply for funding of up to €1,700 (or sterling equivalent) based an approved costs and that the bursary is used by the end of the calendar year it is granted.

Funding is awarded on first come, first served basis until the fund is fully allocated.

  1. Join the Knowledge Network. Membership is free.
  2. Read and complete the Application form
  3. Email the form to [email protected]
